If in the UK, people just hung the national flag everywhere, like they do in America, there would be a lot of speculation as to whether we had turned into a fascist state.
In the US, it seems to be a common thing – like patriotic window boxes (I actually did see some patriotic window boxes, but I haven’t got to those photos yet.) – all taken in Boston. Love Boston, by the way – lovely city.
